Jacob Lee - President and Founder

Jacob Lee is a senior in the Math, Science, and Technology Magnet program at Kennesaw Mountain High School. He came up with the idea of Tech Gap Reboot when he noticed that people living in remote areas of the world without access to basic educational opportunities struggle to move themselves out of poverty. Jacob has found a solution by providing internet-based learning tools (Khan Academy, K-12 textbooks, basic finance and budgeting, health and medical education, etc.) to schools and family help centers in locations where neither the Internet nor reliable power are available, which will enable children and adults to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to end their family’s and community’s cycle of poverty.

Jacob also co-authored a research paper on the need for systems like the one installed in Peru in 2019. Feel free to read it here.
